Our Ingredients
Our Swiss trained
chocolatier starts by importing the finest
raw chocolate from Switzerland made from
the highest quality ingredients. Our cocoa
beans are roasted by artisans who use
centuries-old, closely guarded techniques.
We then use the freshest creams, fruit
purees, pure cocoa butter and nuts to
create the most flavorful of
fillings.

Our Chocolate Making
Process
Dan's Chocolates are
hand-made in small batches in our chocolate factory. Our Swiss trained
chocolatier uses traditional copper kettles
and gently blends the highest quality
ingredients to make our soft centered
fillings. Next, our delicate and thin
chocolate shells are filled with these
luscious centers.
Once full, the shells are put into the
"enrobing" process, in which each piece
travels under a cascade of either milk or
dark chocolate. The chocolates are then
individually hand decorated so you can
recognize our delicious flavors.
Next, the decorated chocolates are
placed in a cooling chamber so they can set
before being hand packaged. After setting,
the chocolates are arranged on trays and
moved into our packaging room where each
chocolate is placed into a paper cup and
then placed into your box.
Our Direct Shipping
Method
By harnessing the power of the
Internet, we've bypassed the cumbersome
distribution process that other
traditional chocolate brands face. This
means we don't have to add excessive
amounts of vegetable oils, sugars and
additives to prolong the shelf life of our
chocolates. Instead, our chocolates don't
have a "shelf-life" because they are
shipped directly to you.

How will you recognize the fabulous
taste of fresh chocolates?

Our fillings are soft and
smooth, not hard and dry, which often
happens to chocolates as they
age.

Our fillings are designed not
to separate from our chocolates'
deliciously thin outer shells. (This is
another problem that often occurs as
chocolates age.)

We do not take the water out
of our chocolate making process. This
allows us to retain the fresh taste that
"off-the-shelf" manufacturers try to
imitate by using oils, fats and other
additives.
